Visiting Havana with a toddler?

We are planning to go to Cuba for a family holiday in November. DS will be 18 months old. We would like to visit Havana for 2 or 3 days and then off to a beach resort.
I am wondering how difficult will be to visit a city with a toddler. DS is very active, always on the move.
I would like to hear from people who have had a similar experience, and how did they find it? Have you got any recommendations?

He'll love it! The Malecon is a good place to let him let off some steam and there's a lovely icecream place for him to enjoy. If you fancy it, try taking him to the cigar factory for a tour, the workers will really enjoy a distraction from the normal stream of tourists!
Enjoy x
