We are looking for a hol destination with toddler & whilst I pregnant. We ideally want to travel somewhere that virgin flies to but not too long a flight. Any recommendations from above list?

Iberostar Tucan hotel in Playacar, Mexico. I am always banging on about this hotel but honestly it is so fantastic, especially for kids. Check it out on trip advisor

Think it would be ok whilst pregnant?

Dreams in Los Cabos was amazing, how old is your toddler? The kids club was brilliant, I had total trust in them and they were wonderful with our 3 yr old. Such a relaxing place so good for you being pg too! Huge choice of food & it's all inc but you can order from menus rather than it all being a buffet (apart from brekkie).

If you're thinking of going now, all those destinations are currently in their 'hurricane season'.

Be warned!

We have travelled to all of the places you have listed. Oct/Nov is at the end of the hurricane season for the places you have listed so unlikely to affect you much. Minimum flight time for those destinations is 8 hrs (Barbados) plus all of the hanging about at the airports. Tbh with a child that age and the fact you are pregnant, I would look a little closer to home - it will be a lot cheaper and you won't have any jet lag/medical expenses/crises to worry about. We've had some great holidays at that time of the year in the Canaries/Northern Africa/Cyprus. There are some fantastic AI 5 star resorts in the Canaries for example. Your toddler will not be bothered where the beach is as long as it's sandy and the water's warm!

If you do go long haul then any of the Caribbean places you are considering are great - some fabulous AI places for families (expensive though). Miami, imo, is for adults although South Beach is lovely. Mexico also fab but longer flight (11 hrs)

I've been to the Iberostar Tucan in Mexico - this year in fact with our DS who was four. It was fine but I don't think it is brilliant for a toddler. The sea can be fairly rough and I didn't find it as family friendly as I expected - a fair few rowdy Americans in the pool - although the beach is sublime.

Florida was great when DS was 3 and October is a perfect time of year for Florida. We did Disney and pushed the buggy round. There's only so long before they realise that the characters are people dressed up and not real, plus it's much cheaper and quieter if you can go out of school holidays. And Virgin fly there :)
