Discovered a wee gem a couple of weeks ago..live only 5 miles away but never knew about! Silver Sands in Aberdour. Lovely wee cove beach, very clean, lots of parking, toilets and a shop/cafe. Will be visiting again today if sun keeps up!

Next time you're out that way, try Kinghorn, the beach there is also fab.

Just wanted to say thank you for your thread. We are staying with relatives in Cardenden and visited Silver Sands today after reading your thread - it is just as wonderful as you describe, even when drizzling!
