Mine will be 16 and 12 next summer, and after 2 consecutive UK summer hols, we want to go abroad next year. Main requirements are that we are near a sandy beach, good hotel poo in a resort that's not too quiet, but equally isn't too Brits Abroad iyswim? Would prefer a shortish flight, up to 5 hours or so. I'm not too sure as to budget, is £4k realistic? We lived in Spain for 3 years, and during that time we holidayed a lot there, so would prefer somewhere different.

TIA

We went on a cruise in the Med when ours were that age . DD had her 13th birthday on board and I had my 50th
We left Southampton on Saturday at 5pm and by Sunday lunchtime we were sunbathing .
We went on Celebrity Eclipse , we had 2 cabins that connected . The children had a great time , lots to do ( think midnight pool party , treasure hunt , even had career talks from members of staff ! )
We had such a great time , we visited Vigo , Barcelona , Palma ( overnight ) Toulouse , Lisbon and other lovely places .
It was more than £4 k , but it was so worth it !
