Have you been to Mousses, Periyali Villas or Lefteris (all Simply Travel)?

I'm trying to book a 2 week holiday for June - we fancy a proper beach holiday, preferably in Greece. Desperate for some sun and laid back living - we haven't been away for two weeks for years. Will have our almost four year old and our four month old baby with us. I've been doing some research on Baby Goes 2 and here on Mumsnet etc and the above places (all with Simply Travel) are recommended, but I've heard negative stuff about Simply Travel since they've been taken over. Does anyone know any more, or can they recommend anywhere else? Our ideal place would be self catering apartments with a pool, near a beach, with a restaurant on site. Preferably something a bit traditional/small scale/not tacky. We stayed in Occakoy in Turkey with Tapestry 18 months ago and that was brilliant, but we'd like to try somewhere new. We're not bothered about organised childcare. YOur help is much appreciated as I can't decide! Also would weather be a bit hit and miss with Mousses - in Lefkas and Periyali in Zakynthos? Lefteris is in Crete so may be a better bet. Thanks!

Thanks for the replies. The photos in the brochure must be misleading because they look really close. No one at Simply Travel could tell me - they had one person in the office who had been there but she was engaged and didn't ring me back. Thanks again - will report back after holiday to let you know if it's still good without the infamous Simon.

There must be about ten metres between the pool and the nearest ones. If I remember rightly, villa number 10 is the nearest to the entrance - so 8, 7, 6 and 5 are nearest to the pool. 1 is furthest away. You won't get troubled by noise though, it is so chilled. Numbers 8 and 5 (I think) are detached. We had number 8 first year and number 6 last year - both were fine. In fact preferred number 8 as was nearer to pool and bar, so could sit out by pool with monitor on (throw stones, see if I care :) ) once DS was asleep.

Have just posted on other thread and I was convinced the numbering went the other way? We stayed in 7 which was a good distance from the pool but still had monitor reception (but only just). I thought 1-4 were the ones on the poolfront? 5 & 8 are definately the 2 detached houses and neither are directly in front of pool.
