On the back of the Cornwall Is Shit™ thread, where in Somerset is good to visit with a toddler for a day?

We've got Longleat lined up for one day and have one more to make the most of. Where can anyone suggest within an hour or so's drive, preferably not a city. Animals/beach/open space to run about much preferred Smile

West Somerset Railway is good. Runs between Taunton and Minehead. Stops at a few beaches on the way.

The East Somerset Railway is nearer longleat, but I've not been on that.

Stourhead is a really good national trust place, with huge grounds with follies and caves.

my DS enjoyed Puxton park near weston super mare. Its a farm park place so has all the usual farm animals and then also a soft play area and outdoor play area

Thanks both of you. I will look at those ideas.
