Just logged on to put up a message about Venice and there was this one!
We just booked our holiday over the weekend (1 week fly cruise - sailing from and to Venice). We have never been to Venice before so have decided to stay for an additional couple of nights. Now discover it is the Venice Regatta - Sunday 3 Sep. We (me, dh and 2 x teenage dss) need to book a hotel - nothing too expensive. Unfortunately we are not in the Cipriani league. Any suggestions for a lovely hotel that won't break the bank. p.s. I know it is still going to cost a fortune!!!
