would you recommend sequoia lodge or Newport bay or new York ? Have stayed at the Disney hotel before but not sure it's worth the money !

Have done both Newport Bay and Sequoia (2 visits each all in winter) but not the New York. For me has to be the Sequoia without a doubt because I find it has a much warmer atmosphere (nicer in the winter) and the Newport bay is a nightmare getting buggies up and down in in the ONE lift to the restaurants. The buffet is the same at both, but again I like atmosphere of the beaver Creek at the Sequoia. FWIW I wouldn't bother with the sit down restaurants in either so this might affect your decision

Would love to stay in the New York or the disney Hotel (but prob only worth it for castle club). Ultimately at disney the main thing you want want is somewhere comfortable to sleep and an easy base from the parks personally so can never justified the added expense.... rather spend the money on the gift shop instead
