Shock are you serious? Who are you flying with?

QOD · 19/08/2012 12:03

Norwegian.no

It's not MY wifi, it's theirs, once you're at 10 000 you can re activate and log onto their wifi

Don't seem to be able to get onto Facebook which is a shame, that'd be a cool status update!!

I'd read that some airlines were going to allow access to t'internet on planes but I thought it was just first class or business class.

Are you rich? Grin

QOD · 19/08/2012 16:50

Hahaha yes loaded ...

Not

Was economy class from Oslo to LGW with Norwegian.com

They aim to have it on/in all their fleet by year end. So clever!

Oh, that's great news. It will certainly help pass the time when flying.

I switched my kindle on when flying recently and hadn't put it onto "plane" mode. It jammed and I thought I was going to bring the plane down because the wifi had been enabled. I managed to switch it off and sat there looking very guilty for the rest of the flight.

DS1 (who wants to be a pilot) tells me there is no risk of causing interference with the flight controls - they just don't want us to tap into any of the communications.

I still felt guilty.
