A London art gallery for DSs, 11 and 13

Admit the boys have barely ever been to London but we're going for 4 days in 2 weeks time. I've lost touch of where would be good to go, but an art gallery should be slotted in, no?

What do you think?

Tate modern or national portrait gallery. IMO both are great and are near to loads of other sights.

The south bank generally is great place to walk, stop, mooch, walk, sightsee, etc.

Check the website but the Tate used to have the art trolley pitched up in one of the galleries. It's stuffed full of craft stuff and you and the kids can spread out on the floor and just make stuff!

You can catch the boat to the Tate Modern, too.

Both really kid friendly. They may even have events on. There's a calendar on the website to say what's on.
