Where to go in early March for 2/3 night break with DH?

I am trying to plan a 2/3 night short haul break with DH in early March but really want to go somewhere as warm (and dry) as possible without spending a fortune or flying for hours. Whilst I am not expecting to be able to jump into a pool or sunbathe. optimistically, I would like to be able to sit in the sun for some of the time as I have some minor mobility issues and can't walk for long periods of time.

Between us, DH and I do have quite a number of British Airways Avios miles so if BA fly to our chosen destination then that would help with flight costs. Alternatively I would look at any easyJet destinations from Gatwick!

I am vaguely wondering about Marrakech but any other suggestions would be welcome. Thank you.

I would suggest Paris, on the Eurostar. Only a £70.00 return pp. If you want a flight then perhaps Egypt? Again, not expensive and guaranteed to be sunny.

Thank you for replying Tiddly

I have been to Paris in early March for my birthday before and it was snowing heavily before we arrived and on and off throughout our stay. As much as I LOVE Paris it is unlikely to be any warmer than Surrey Grin

Egypt would definitely be hot and sunny but a 5 hour flight for 2/3 nights wouldn't be worthwhile I don't think.

Somewhere between Egypt and Paris then! lol with a 2(ish) hour flight?

It wouldn't be guaranteed sunshine but somewhere in southern Spain like Seville would very probably be warm - certainly sitting outside at a cafe type warm, if you know what I mean. I've been to Majorca in February and it was beautiful weather, same with Sorrento.

A good place to look is www.wunderground.com as you can put in your potential holiday dates adn look at what the weather was like on those dates going back 10 years.
