Bulgaria- good for families/kids under 10?

Has anyone been on holiday to Bulgaria? Can you recommend it? Where did you stay? Kids range from 18 months to 10. Where there any down sides to going?

Lived in Bulgaria for three years in Sofia. Am assuming you are talking beach holiday? If so the big resorts are all on the Black Sea and am afraid I never went there. But my sister did and they had a good time. It is very cheap. Good weather. Reasonable food.
