We awill be staying in S Devon for a week, we have a car so can get around. We already have Crealy on the list and Paignton Zoo. Anything else?

The model village is a must-do with kids - I used to go every summer and now take my kids! And the Devon Wildlife Centre - aka Prickoy Ball Farm - is fab.

Prickly Ball Farm!

Woodlands. Near Dartmouth is great. Expensive to get in, but lots to do when there. Big indoor play barn if it's wet.

We went to woodlands in the rainy half term, very good.

Can book tickets online for a discount, even just before you go in (like I did on my iPhone)

cockington court. picnic on the lawn, nice walks, very different sensory playground at the back of the house (now craft centre, don't miss the glass blowing)

Then walk down to the village and have a cream tea in the most fabulously twee tee garden "rose cottage". real something for everyone dayout.

Kents caven

Brixham is nice and the pirate ship was a hit with my DS when we went when he was young.
