days out for a one year old

Hi, I am a single parent with a one year old girl. I want to take her on days out. I have no car so rely on public transport. I live in Sheffield and just wonder if there is anywhere I can take her. Looking for inspiration.

Can you get the bus to Graves Park? My two loved (still love) animals at 1 year old, there's a great animal farm there, plus ducks, grass to totter about on and a sand pit in the playground, which is worth getting to early in the school hols as it gets a little busy.

And the Peace Garden fountains are great for paddling little feet on a hot day of course.
