What's the worse thing you forgot on holiday (and are you an OCD or haphazard packer))

Fascinated by the detail some people need to pack on holiday. So what actually has everyone forgotten then?

I have never forgotten to pack anything so far and I am very vague. However I was on holiday when I left my bag (complete with passports and money) in a restaurant on the beachfront, the night before a 10am flight home.Luckily no one had nicked it and the owner took the call 7.00am when I phoned in a bit of a panic!
Picked it up at 8.00am with my DS in the taxi and raced to the airport. Only when I got on did I realise how lucky i had been.

That is very lucky!

I haven't forgotten anything important but I am very obsessive about packing and have a set of luggage scales to make sure the cases are within the weight limits. On our first non-honeymoon holiday after we were married I only let DH take 4 pairs of underwear because, despite packing and repacking and minimising everything right down, we were still over the 20Kg weight limit for our hold bag. He was fine with it until we checked our miniscule bag in at the airport and we realised that I had been looking at the wrong set of numbers so it actually only weighed 20lb (9Kg). Good thing he loves me :o

I once went on a three week school exchange holiday without any underwear apart from what I had on. It was in the middle of nowhere, I was an embarrassed 15 year old with big boobs, and was too embarrassed to ask the host family for help getting to a shop.

I spent every night washing my underwear and praying it would be dry by the morning.
