I am thinking of taking 4yo DD. Is it worth the money?

Any tips?

We are due to go in a couple of weeks, so I can't help with the day itself, but wanted to mention that you can swap tesco vouchers for entry tokens - £6 of tokens buys £19 of entry ticket.

We loved it although dd2 hated the monkeys (one scared her when it jumped on top of the car (and she could see the monkey looking down at us from the moon roof :)). Our best moment was the lions. They were right next to our car, just sitting, but goodness, they looked so magnificent and I've never seen any that close before.

We got there 30 minutes after the park opened. We did a drive through then and another one later that afternoon, before heading home. You can go through as many times as you want and skip certain areas too (we skipped the monkeys the second time around although dd1 and I really wanted to go back :)). In between the drive we walked around to see the birds (you can feed them and they'd stand on your hand while eating), play, eat, etc.

When we went there was an offer. I can't remember how much but it was significant enough to make it worthwhile. Bring a picnic. I think the food there was kind of expensive. Don't drive your best car. The monkeys didn't do anything while we were there but I've heard of some monkey naughtiness :) If you go on to TripAdvisor.com, or Google reviews, you can see more reviews on Woburn.

Have fun if you go!!
