Hi there,

Got a week off at start of September with DH, a 2 yr old and a 1 yr old, and would love to hear about any family friendly hotels with decent interconnecting/ family rooms?

We stayed at the Barcelo Pueblo Menorca earlier this year and would thoroughly recommend it for the brilliant family rooms- 2 completely independent and fully equipped ES bedrooms, but with a common foyer and one front door so that you felt really safe.

Due to a somewhat high maintenance and early waking toddler, we would rather not all sleep in one room for a week! Or huddle on a sofa bed in the lounge while he luxuriates in the main bedroom, like most of the family rooms seem to be.....

Any similar recommendations would be great! Ideally 4/5 star, all inclusive or HB, and close to a lovely beach.....

Don't ask much, do I? :)

Thank you all in advance...

Not been myself but Punta Prima in Menorca is meant to be nice - I get your feelings we always try to sort out separate sleeping arrangements for DS and having an only tour operators always think that we will be keen to save money and share a room.
Or as its the start of September can recommend the Chia Village in Sardina they do family rooms so either you have two interconnecting rooms or one bedroom on top and stairs down to the other in the same hotel room. Nice place with lovely half board and a little train to take you to the beach.

Not in Menorca but would recommend the Pegasos World Hotel in Side, turkey (First choice or Thomson). Went there in June and was ideal, accommodation was very smart in Block 2, which is a newer one. Extremely clean resort, all inclusive. We don't tend to go back to places but might do this again next year while we've got little ones and know they are well-catered for here.

Have also been to Princesa Yaiza in Lanzarote which had a 2 bed apartment within a hotel. More expensive and not as good value as the Turkey hotel.

Lovely, thank you ladies, will have a look at those.

Had specified majorca/ menorca as judging on the experience earlier this year, I think 2 hours is the maximum flight time either the toddler or the poor other passengers on the plane can tolerate :)

It may be worth checking out Protur Aparthotel Bonaire in Majorca. There's a double with a cot space but you could easily fit in two cots or a foldaway bed and then you have a separate sitting/dinig/kitchenette area & balcony.

Try the insotel club hotel in punta prima. We had a 2 bed apartment there and it's a great family friendly hotel with lovely pools ideal for toddlers. 5 min walk to beach. Our first all inclusive experience and thought it worked brilliantly.
