We're off to Florida next month, we're flying with Thomson. Any hints and tips for the flight would be appreciated - it's well over ten years since I last flew.
We're flying with a 12 year old and an 8 year old.
Thanks.

Nintendo DS's will be your saving grace :)

Thomsons long haul flights are really good. I'm sure your children will enjoy their seat back entertainment. I always encourage my boys to watch the films as they use up a few hours and make the time go quite quickly.
Pack snacks as well as often the hot meal is served really early and then a massive gap until they come round with a small snack which is often something like a wrap and cookie.

You will be going to Sanford which is hell! They will be very watchful of baggage weight limits.

Now we're back, the flight was great and Sanford was great too - off the flight, through passport control and with our luggage in under and hour. Flying back, equally efficient. I'd fly there again.
