Good evening. Going to Majorca with 4 kids 7-16. It our first trip on a plane with the kids.

Where's the best place to get our euros?
Any useful things to bring with us?

Any advice appreciated.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I always get euros from the post office - cheapest place and buy them with cash or your bank will charge commission. The children are old enough to amuse themselves so I would stress that it will be a long time of hanging around at the airport so they need something in the way of books, games or music.

I order my Euros through Travelex and get them delivered to my house.
My children take a small ruck sack each that they are in charge of for the journey. They put in a book or magazine each and I add some boiled sweets or box of tactics. If they have any electronic gadgets such as iPod make sure they are fully charged as really useful for the journey. Once through customs we all buy a cold drink each from WHSmith and each person looks after their own drink.
I found time actually goes really fast at the airport. You just have to make sure hunger is avoided otherwise if like our family we all start getting ratty with each other especially if had to get up at silly o'clock.
Another option is to price up airport lounges as you get fed and watered and all the children are in one place with Internet and T.V etc.
