I'm looking for any recommendations for a nice but preferably cheap weekend away in either Scotland or north of England, staying in a lodge. We went to Kielder last year and loved it but was wondering if there is anything similar anyone can recommend where you can go short cycles and there is plenty for the kids to do. We loved the forest location and can't decide if we should just go back again. Thanks.
