taxi from airport to Port de Pollenca? Shuttle?

we are going to Port de Pollenca for the first time next week with two DDs (7 months and 3.5) and will need to get from the airport to the hotel, but weren't otherwise planning on using a car. I've googled around and see it's possible to reserve a taxi from the airport ahead of time, also some kind of shuttle. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do you need to reserve ahead of time? Is it cheaper to do it that way or at the airport?

We're just back from there. We booked the hotel with expedia and they got us transfers with Transunion. You'll see their busses out there everywhere. I think it was £90 return for a family of four. It's quite a long way so don't know if a taxi would save uoi anything, and we thought it was a very good service and we weren't shipped out too early at all. Loved Puerto Pollensa, want to move out there, it's gorgeous!! Have fun

We've always hired a car, so I can't really help, although I know my PIL have always raved about how good the buses are on Majorca.

Hi we went to pollenca last month and reserved a taxi in advance from majorca taxis. www.majorcataxiscompany.com/

We decided against a shuttle service as they can take up to an hour longer and didn't think it a good idea with young children. We only paid 70 euros and there was someone to meet us at arrivals so do recommend this company. Most of the taxi companies seem to be good.
