Holiday Suggestions please.

I week for 4, DCs 11 & 15.

Hate the idea of all inclusive and being surrounded just by other tourists. Love a bit of culture.

W/C 20/08/12 flying from Manchester or Liverpool but, not too hot, as DH not allowed too much sun .
Not Paris, Rome or Florence.o

Barcelona?

Loads of Gaudi, Picasso stuff. Go to Monserrat. Beach, zoo, aquarium, nice cathedrals x2, Roman excavations. Lovely shops, tapas.

Barcelona is a great suggestion.

Milan/Lake Garda? Close to Verona and Venice. Come to that, Venice has a beach too.

Loving the sound of Barcelona, I don't think I'll get away with Italy again but was worried that it would may be too hot?

Barcelona in august would be hot, probably not quite as hot as Italy though.

Prague?

Actually, Dublin is very nice. Fantastic zoo and Guiness museum a good visit.

Prague looks good but Barcelona is caling. I'll just have to leave DH inside.
Love Dublin but have already taken DCs there.
