OP simply must have been a girl guide Grin
Dont' forget your piece of string and safety pin and two pence piece in case you have to make a phone call.

girlywhirly · 24/07/2012 16:54

I probably would, but that would be to wear while getting on the plane in the UK and again on arrival in UK after the holiday!

QuenelleOJersey2012 · 24/07/2012 16:56

Yes Blush

miomio · 24/07/2012 16:57

We did in September and needed them. I would take a brolly instead - any rain will be warm!

Mum2Fergus · 24/07/2012 17:30

Hmm no Smile

TangoSierra · 24/07/2012 17:36

girlywhirly - a cagoule for getting on the plane. pmsl you must have looked like plane spotter enthusiast!

girlywhirly · 24/07/2012 19:28

Well, when DH and I got back from Rhodes in mid June, we wore them for warmth! We had come from 27 odd degrees evening temp. to about 11 degrees in England and it was drizzling.

Tango, don't you mean an anorak for plane-spotting? Wink

TangoSierra · 24/07/2012 20:03

yeah but cagoulies are of the same ilk IMO Grin

Tansie · 24/07/2012 21:08

So- are you saying an anorak would be preferable?

If you want one, get a Regatta that rolls up into a tiny drawstring pouch from Millets. They are no trouble and very light to take with you, it's what I have.

SooticaTheWitchesCat · 25/07/2012 10:44

No, it's Mallorca in August Wink

blueglue · 25/07/2012 10:47

No!
I have been to Majorca in th Summer when it has rained. The rain is light, warm and brief on the odd occasion it comes.

Tansie · 25/07/2012 13:12

Next you'll be telling me I don't need my thermal underwear, sou'wester or wellies! Tsk.

Well I would, but I have been unlucky enough to be in Majorca and other hot and dry countries during some unusually wet weather. Also, a cagoule doesn't take up much room or weigh a lot.

Over the years I have seen loads of wet and miserable holidaymakers on holiday because they have assumed that it never rains in the Med.
