Non-flying holiday needed

where can we can any ideas prefer the sand and stuff for a 2 yr old. abroad preferably, thanks

camping/self catering in France is the obvious one, somewhere like the Vendee or Wales

how would we get to vendee? ferry then drive is it far?

Yes, ferry then drive it depends which route you take but it would be 3-4 hours I think

beaches ideal for children, warm sunny weather..lovely in June

where do you live?

we are in the south east so we could go to dover?, any particular cottages firm you would reccomend?

right from Calais it is a lot further about 7.5 hours, from Caen it is about 4.5 hours

you could try looking at Brittany Ferries for both crossing and accommodation, there are lots and lots of companies and individuals renting..VFB, gites de France

You might want to stay over a night if you came from Dover to Calais
