I know there have been other threads about this but can anyone give me a steer on which is the most upmarket out of Mark Warner/Club Med/Neilsons Beachplus? They all seem to have resorts which claim to be very luxurious but I want ACTUAL five star luxury! Mark Warner have a great looking place in Greece called Levante I think but I have read some mixed reviews about Mark Warner. Any tips very welcome. Thanks.

I have only been on Mark Warner holidays so don't know about the others. The activities and sports are really good but they are definitely not 5 star luxury. I went five times and really enjoyed the holidays as learnt to sail and water ski and got to have a gown up night out with my DH each evening.

Only been to club med and they are at best a decent 3/maybe a 4 star (and that is the Poncey ones). You can still have a nice holiday there but not 5 star type thing.

I have been to the Anastasia and Sivota with Neilson. The Anastasia was nicer (probably like a 4*), but both of them were fine. The sports and general organisation were great in both of them

We have been to The Ocean Club, Luz, Portugal which is Mark Warner and it is nice but certainly not luxurious, definitely not 5*

have stayed at 3 neilsons - had a fantastic time and brilliant holidays. But they are definiately not 5 star luxury. accommodation is quite basic - you go there for the activities rather than luxury - they are not luxury holidays. I have heard though that they are better than Mark Warner but not done Mark Warner myself.

if you find anywhere similar that is luxury - can you let us know?! Thanks!

Have you looked at Scott Dunn? They might be closer to what you want.
