Where to visit Just outside of London?

We are meeting my cousin this weekend as they are in London. We were hoping to meet up there but I have just realised it will be horrendous trying to get anywhere either by car, train or bus!

Can you recommend somewhere we can meet up for lunch and an attraction in easy distance for them to get to ( 1 train ride preferably) we can go by car so not too much of an issue for us.

Thank you

Hampton Court Palace? Windsor castle?

Which direction outside London do you live? Leeds castle in Kent is lovely. But no use if you're west of London Grin

Not Hampton Court, risk of cycling chaos. Road cycle race in Surrey.

Windsor is a good idea.

From which side are you coming in?

BramblyHedge · 23/07/2012 22:45

Bekonscot if they have young kids

We are coming in from Kent so would prefer that end.

Not that end but the Harry Potter studio?

You really don't want to be venturing further west than junction 7 of the M25, due to the cycling. Even the M25 will get clogged up to some extent, it did during the test event last summer.

I'm sorry, I don't know that "side" at all.
