Ok this will sound ridiculous, but we want to go back to Longleat because we went there about eight years ago and met Nelson the parrot. Would be lovely to see the house, park etc, but the main reason we are going is for the lovely parrots!

Of course, Nelson is a big BBC TV star now, so probably won't remember us Grin

Anyway, thing is, we are going at the end of March and I need to know whether the parrots will be around at that time of year as it might still be cold? Is it open weekdays?

No parrots = no trip!

The parrotts were out on a freezing day in October last year if that helps, it didn't seem to put them off their skateboarding either!.

Try contacting them through their website.

Also, just found out for only £4.25 of Tesco vouchers, we got free passport tickets to Longleat valid till October (worth £19). Total bargain. Child 3-14 years tickets are only £3.75 of Tesco vouchers. You do it via their website - fantastic!
