We are planning on going away June/July with DS who will be 16/17 months old.
We are trying to work out if we should go for fortnight Spain (travelling?, luggage? what will occupy DS all day, with only a pool?)
Or UK break? dearer, where to go?
There seem to be lots on offer for 5 year old up, but what for really littlens?

Any thoughts?

We've been away to places where they've had creches, and its been wonderful. My 17 monther (well, she was at the time), cried to go in there and never wanted to leave! Even if they don't go in the creche, at family hotels there are often softplay areas and the like

We're sticking to the UK and Ireland (to see DH's family) until the kids get a little older. For us it's just easier, particularly w/regards to if they fall ill whilst on holiday.
