there are a few threads on mumsnet to back up the story with people from england able to only get appointments in scotland and vice versa. We got ds's passport renewed last month and it took nearly 3 weeks to come back

really, Seona? This has been going on for a while, then

they had got quite slick since that huge backlog when children first had to have their own passports

Govt cutbacks again

No surprise as its holiday time.

Had ours back yesterday after doing the post office check and send service. Sent them on 4th July, so 3 wks exactly.

My DD's took 3 weeks too.
