Car hire in France

Can anyone recommend any decent value, but reliable, car hire companies in France?

Going next Saturday for a fortnight. Will be collecting from Paris CDG airport and then drop off at Toulouse airport.

Did think we had it booked but they've cancelled our car type for us and the one they are now offering is nearly £200 more.

There will be 4 adults and one 10y, plus luggage.
We'd originally booked a Kangoo style car as have found them really useful for this number of passages and decent boot space. Now struggling to find anything though.

I have always recommended Europcar in the past, but have some friends who where recently let down by them. You problem is the same as they had, you are dropping off to a different office to the pick-up. They don't like that as it messes up their schedules, and the cars "belong" to the office where you pick-up. Are you staying near Toulouse? If so you may find it cheaper to fly from Paris to Toulouse and pick up a car there.
