We are going to London next week and in the spirit of trying to save money I found that you can buy an aquarium ticket and London eye Combo ticket.

It says on the website that you pick up the tickets from the aquarium and you must use the London eye ticket within a month. We are only in London for the week and time is short as there is so much to see.

Has anyone ever bought this ticket and then managed to go on the London eye within the same week?

Because they are only a couple of hundred yards from each other I would recommend doing both in the same day rather than going back to the South Bank.
Also they are not particularly long activities. Aquarium is about 1 and a half hours and London Eye less than half an hour. There is a play are on the other side of the eye if you wanted to give DC a run around.
What else are you planning to do?
