Road trip insurance - where from?

hi all, we are driving to Italy next week, through France and i wondered if anyone had any recommendations for insurance please?

Obviously my car insurance covers the driving aspect, but im after holiday insurance that covers a driving holiday in three countries. I seem to only be able to find policies where you have to name the country (only one)

TIA :)

We have an annual policy, which covers us for anywhere in Europe. We usually have two holidays per year, one winter, one summer, and it works out cheaper than getting insurance for each trip. We get it via a broker, but the company is called Fortis.

The AA do a European trip cover, which covers you for roadside assistance/ rescue. This could be worth a look, as well.
