Where to stay near Saint Malo, Brittany

We have a ferry leaving Saint Malo at 10am. We would like to stay fairly near the port without paying ridiculous prices for staying in the town itself. I heard that Dinan is meant to have good hotels. We have a 5 year old and six year old. ideally we would like somewhere near or with a restaurant. As long as we are 30 mins or so from the port, that is good with us.

We stay in Dinan when sailing from St Malo. The hotel Ibis is good and central, so you can walk around the old town in the evening and eat out at any restaurant. The hotel is right next to an underground car park, so there is no problems with where to park either.
