Ca'N Picafort - Majorca.

Have been looking for a summer holiday for next year and have found a good deal at a nice hotel in Ca'N Picafort. Does anyone have any experience of what its like?

We've booked to go there this August so will watch replies with interest! As far as I can gather it's very much a purpose built resort but the beach and the scenery around it looks nice. Some interesting places nearby to get to if you have a car.

It is much nicer than Alcudia, (which is heaving on the beaches etc).

It was years ago, but we stayed at the Alcudia Pins Apartments, between Alcudia & C'an Picafort, and took bus trips to both. Much preferred C'an Picafort - smaller, less commercial, nicer restaurants etc. Beaches are lovely too.
