Would love to go on a family holiday this october but do not know where would have nice weather? We are a young family- 1 month old baby and a 3 year old. My husband and I have never been abroad together, and seeing as this year we have hardley seen the sun we're going to make an effort to go abroad. Any recommendations??

Canary Islands still pretty warm then, or guaranteed sunshine in Dubai or Oman.

Depends on your budget really though - what are you looking to spend?

I went to Cyprus one October half term and had lovely weather.

Greece, specifically Rhodes as it's so far east, lovely blue skies and warm sunshine, but not too burning for your little ones.

We have booked to go to Tenerife for the third year running this time in October. However as its the schools half term make sure you don't go when thats on or you will end up paying more when you aren't tied into the school holidays yet.

Barbados is lovely that time of year.

Canary Islands, Greece or Cyprus will all be nice in October.

As mentioned be careful you are not booking the school holiday week, which can vary dependant on areas, so a lot of October dates can be a lot pricier than say late September, early November.

I booked with lowcostholidays.com this year, they have the same hotels as the main holiday companies, but are so much cheaper. I booked the same holiday I was looking at with Thomascook for £700 cheaper!
