Have taken it into my head that I would really like to go to Paris for a weekend in the summer (have a significant birthday, and dh is keen!!!! 
) - will have a 3 month old, but am planning on leaving the other children behind (haven't told my parents they will be babysitting yet....). So, ideally it would be fairly central - near St Sulpice or Notre Dame I think, and because we're planning now, can save up a bit for it, so doesn't need to be total budget hotel - can be 'nice' hotel iyswim.
I have NEVER booked a hotel before, and am at a loss as to how to find one.
