we are staying in this area for a day what on earth can we do with a 7 yr old :)

What about Kew Gardens?

Or Hampton Court Palace?

is Hampton court interesting enough for DS

Walk in Bushey Park.

Twickenham Stadium Tour.

If you are really desperate and weather bad, Snakes and Ladders at Syon House.

Swim at Richmond Pools or outdoor pool in Hampton if weather is good.

Visit Teddington Lock, watch the boats go through, have lunch in a pub.
