11yo dd can't swallow them even if cut in half. Current answer of dissolving in water not great. Already in Cambodia so we need to keep taking them, but all causing too much stress all round. Any tips anyone?

take a squeeze bottle of runny honey, cover each pill and put at throat, large gulp of water, the honey makes it slip down.

We practised with candy. For every candy he swallowed he would get two more to chew up. It wasn't malaria pills but something else.

Get her to chew a biscuit or similiar, then chuck the capsule in to swallow with the chewed biscuit. Swallow all at once. It helps get over the fear of choking.

We crush between two spoons so that it is a powder and mix into a teaspoon of nutella or peanut butter. Works a treat.

I don't blame her tbh, they are vile. You used to be able to get syrup for babies, that might be suitable/easier?

Uhg they are horrible.

The only way I can take them is to fill my mouth with water, then put my head back, pop the pill in and swallow without tasting.
