Where in Charente maritime? St jean d'angely has aquatis, a pool with slides etc. la rochelle has quite a few things.

Sorry, atlantys

Ruthiebabes · 11/07/2012 23:08

I was going to suggest Atlantys in St Jean.. there is a bigger indoor pool complex in Jonzac but I have not been there.

Hope weather good for you.. we are off to a gite complex nr St Jean d'Angely in August and are praying for Sun!!

We have been there for the past two years and loved it but last year the weather was truly dismal Sad. The zoo is wonderful but would be better on a grey day rather than a wet one.

We're off to Brittany this year, forecast there is pretty horrid too Sad

thanks so much, lets hope things improve, weather wise!

Hi, I'm just back yesterday and it wasnt as bad as the forecast looked. We had some heavy downpours but mostly in the early morning between 6 and 9am. We had a few glorious afternoons on the beach. The Indian Forest )zip wires and climing in the tree tops) outside Les Mathes was the best afternoon my 10 year old had in his life! It probably needs to be dry but doesnt need to be sunny. Enjoy, I wish I was still there....

There's a good aquarium in La Rochelle.

We were in CM for the last two weeks in June and the weather was mixed, but not nearly as miserable as here. Warmer, for a start, and it only rained (drizzled, more like), on two days so we did something nearly every day.
