Just back from Turkey - Marmaris - Sunrise Hotel - with my wife. All wonderful. Went with Thomsons. All good except coach that took us an hour and half to our hotel had broken seat arms, no seat belts and no child seat provision- saw baby carried in arms for duration of trip. Coach like 1970's school bus out of period comedy - poor air conditioning - worn seats. Other companies had brand new coaches. Charged £1 for two small bottles of water. Spoke to Thomson rep (Debbie) - their response was they use coaches that comply with local law - only need arm rests + seat belts in risk seats. No child seats provided. On way back coach much newer - and with seat belts - still no child seats and no toilets on a non stopping coach. Surely Thomson should provide coaches to EU standards & child seats & with toilet on long journey. We met frequent traveler to Turkey - who said all long distance Turkish coaches they have used are less than 3 year old and serve drinks free of charge.
