24 hour flight with 5 m.o. - what to bring on board with me???

Am flying to Australia on Saturday with DS and have a massive list of carryon items. It is a 24 hour flight (assuming no delays!) so I want to bring enough nappies with me (eg 20), wipes, sudoceam, plus 3-4 changes of clothes for baby plus a change of clothes for me just in case we have any vomiting incidents (it has happened before!), plus bottles/SMA cartons, plus toys, plus calpol/bonjela etc, muslin cloths, bib, feeding spoons, a few toiletries for me, etc etc.

Exactly how much carry-on luggage am I allowed here??? Does baby get a carry on for himself? Am I going overboard or have I missed something out?

Please help! We leave in 2 days' time!

The longest flight I took my Ds on was an 11 hour flight. I think you have covered everything for your Ds. Now think about yourself. Have a safe flight.
