I am going there next week with DH but he will be on a course from 9-5 and I just wondered where I could go with 2 toddlers? Is there some kind of indoor play place if the weather is bad? Thanks Smile

Anyone? Who lives near there - is it Mistymoo?

There is one up in one of the out-of-town shopping centres - think it's the one with the smaller of the two tescos, and a homebase ... could be wrong though (about the location). Think it's up near Raigmore. I've not been because it was closed for refurbishment when I went! Angry

There's another out-of-towner which has a huge tesco's, next, argos etc and also a cinema there - but I guess your LO's might be a bit young for that.

Scratching my head for more ideas ... don't go to Inverness that often now I'm afraid!

(Raigmore being the hospital btw)

Thanks Miaou! You live near Fort William dont you? I am one of the 'change your name for a week' gang. I think we have talked before. Smile

There might be something at Bucht Park - Miaou?! My sister lives in Inverness and has a toddler, so will ask her and get back to you!

OK, there is a Fun Factory which is inside the Brewsters pub/restaurant at Inshes Gate, next door to the Premier Travel Inn just off the A9. Been there myself and it's good, although it is small.

There's also a place on the way to Nairn which does painting ceramics, geared up for kids with a ball pit too - been there too and it's fab. Can't for the life of me remember what it's called, only that it's on the way to Nairn. HTH

i think that's the one I was thinking of, kando.

Hi Schneebly
There's a good swimming pool with flumes, lazy river, toddler area etc at Bught Park, in the town. If you have a car there is a small Highland wildlife park on the Black Isle, about 20 mins drive north. My mum lives in Inv and the kids always liked going there. It has indoor bits as well as outdoor.

The only suggestions I have are the ones that have already been suggested. There really isn't much to do with little kids in Inverness.

The Brewsters place is samll, but okay for toddlers. ANd you don't have to pay - just buy something to eat/drink.
