Am looking to book a holiday at the above in October, I was just wondering if anyone had been recently and had any advice on the difference between the comfort plus villa and the new style lodges? It would appear they are exactly the same with the latter just having an updated interior, is it worth it for the extra £40?

Also I wonder if anyone has been to the above and has any advice/comments on what it's like? We've done the whinfell one before which was nice enough.

Thanks
Prof

I have stayed in Comfort and Woodland but not Comfort Plus. We always pay extra for the Woodland now as they are a lot nicer and have more comfortable sofas, better bathrooms and a dishwasher. It is mainly the standard of decoration. The Comfort is adequate but dated ime. Having said that, we haven't stayed in the comfort for several years now.

Not sure what Comfort plus is exactly.

I have stayed in the new style woodland lodge at Longleat and I'd say it is definitely worth laying an extra £40 for.

Main thing with Longleat is pick the spot of your lodge carefully depending on where you think you will spend most time as it is a large park and very very hilly. We always try and stay near the swimming pool. The rapids at Longleat are brilliant that's where we spent most of our time!

Have a great time, we love Centre Parcs - went to Sherwood Forest in May and have been looking at Longleat for December as we only live 40 mins away Smile

Woodland as soooooooo much nicer. Definitely worth the bit extra. Also worth paying as much as you can to be nearer in. Longleat is very big and very hilly and if you are down the bottom of the hill it's a long, long walk up!
