Am taking elder dd on Saturday. Any tips on what to wear/how cold it will be? Very, I presume. The company provides an oversuit and boots once we get there, just wondered what else - thermals, three pairs of socks? etc? Anyone done it? Thanks in advance.

Sorry - sticking this up again. Only chance to get anything I need is today at lunchtime. Any advice?

hi sykes,i've not been to lapland but we went to lithuania last new year and we almost froze to death,it was -20,this year we're off to latvia and i've bought really good coats, ski pants and boots, don't buy any thermals, she can wear tights or even pj's underneath, lip balm and at least 3 pairs of snow gloves and balaclavas, that's all i can think of for now, hope you have a lovely time

No advice but have a fantastic time. I'd love to take Dd when she is a bit bigger!

Thanks, bugger, ski gloves, balaclavas hadn't even thought, I think my lack of awareness is rather frightening. Running out now ... enjoy Latvia.
