Days out in Sheffield??

Hi,

I Live in Sheffield, outside city centre and want some weekendy places to go.

Ds is 6 and dd is 2 with another due in May. We already do Millhouses park, Endcliffe Park, Kids Playland in Killamarsh and Butterfly world on A57. Has anyone got any more? As the weather is bad at mo, indoors would be appreciated as well as outdoors and the cheaper the better.

sorry i didn't see this before but some places to try might be:

Alphabet zoo - soft play centre near meadowhall

The winter gardens/millenium galleries (all inside)- in town centre

The botanical gardens are nice if dry,

Have you tried the animals in Graves Park? It's free but outside, should be lots of babies soon.

I second Alphabet Zoo at Meadowhall, very cheap especially during the week for toddlers.
