Quick question - ford focus

Just about to book hire car for our holiday in Majorca in May - looking at getting a focus estate, price is good for the week and the child seats are at no extra cost.

Will I get a child seat and 2 boosters across the back? I know I can in a mondeo but is the focus any narrower or not?

We've got a focus estate and have managed to squeeze a stage 1 rear-facing seat (Britax rockatot), a large stage 2 seat (Britax Renaissance) and also a booster cushion seat (Britax horizon) across the back. It was really squashed though and it took some time to do up all the seatbelts as there wasn't much hand room left - it was all safe and sound though with no dodgy shortcuts or compromises.
Ours is the new style focus so I don't know whether the old version would be any different.

Thanks Roobie - in our Mondeo we have 2 2nd stage seats (britax eclipse) and a high backed booster. I know what you mean about buckling them in but this is just for a weeks holiday and 2 of the seats are just boosters. In fact, we'll probably not use it much once we are at the villa - it's more for getting to and from the airport as you can't get baby seats in a taxi.

We have a britax renaissance and 2 britax evolve kid highback boosters occasionally for when dd has a friend over from nurserry and as Roobie says its a squeeze but can be done. Ours is a Y reg car too if that helps any.

We can get a baby seat, a booster seat and an adult at the back. (And my bum is bigger than a booster seat.)

can be done but it's a tight squeeze. The middle has an annoying hump feature which makes ds's carseat roll ifkwim.THe seat does't sit flat enough.

LOL cristina!!

Thanks everyone - I've booked it as I think they will fit in OK. Might be a squash but it's really only for airport transfer.

Thanks!
