Anyone ever bought a mobile home abroad?

Just wondered has anyone ever done this on a eurocamp style european campsite/ mobile home site?

Do you let it out? How does it work? Would you recommend doing this?

We are interested for our hols and to let when we arent using, any advice very welcome. thanks.

Once you have bought your mobile home (20k?+ for a good one) you have to pay site fees each year. These are usually displayed on the sites website around 2.5-3k I think.

i guess your biggest problem with renting out would be finding someone to manage/clean it. Some sites will organise this for a fee.

Not not done it myself; I have friends who live in one in the Landes for 8 months a year.
