Packing essentials for first hol with 11 week old - Advice please

Going on first family holiday to Germany this weekend with 11 week old! My packing list so far for the little one:

buggy, sling, travel cot and bedding
nappies, wipes and cotton wool
normal bath stuff - wash, lotion, sponge
first aid kit: calpol, sudocrem, suncream
clothes and a few toys

Am i missing anything?! Any tips for other essential items I need?

I would forget nappies and wipes. Take as much as you need for a couple of days and go shopping. You get Pampers in every Supermarket and various other brands.

Strangely they don't do big cotton wool pads, we had to buy the make-up removal ones, far too tiny.

How long are you staying? We went the first time back home (I am German btw) and DD slept for 10 days in the cot part of the pram. Saves the travel cot.

I kept clothing simple and just did a wash at my mums/my mother-in-law.

Have a travel insurance in place.

Car seat?
raincover and sunshade for buggy

I agree take enough baby toiletries and nappies to last a couple of days (unless your baby needs special/prescription formulations, in which case take as much as you will need) and plan to wash clothing.
