Hi, me and DP are going away next weekend for a week (with out our 3 DD, eeeek!). We are going to stay in a romany caravan in Bodmin first half, then staying in the St Ives Hotel and Spa for the second half of our holidays. Has anybody got any advice/tips on things to do/see? We like walking, DP is into museums etc, I like to relax (which will be possible on this holiday, without the kids, ahhhhh :) ) Any nice restraunts? Thanks in advance x

Do a major amount of chilling out on porthmeor beach and have a surfing lesson.

Have a meal at the porthminster restaurant inst Ives - lovely. Just wander around the galleries and art shops. Also book a table in the window at the italian restaurant on the harbour beach. Yum. Miss it so much!

Don't forget the Tate st Ives and Barbara hepworths garden.

Take a walk along the coast at st Ives, take a picnic or walk to the next village for lunch.

Wish I was there sooner.

Thanks Tomjoules - the Porthminster restaurant looks really lovely, its a must then! Lots of good suggestions there, thanks again. Never been before, so looking forward to see and try new things.
