HavIng never been I'm after any info! We'll be 3 adults, 16yo, 11yo, 3yo and a 1yo. I don't like beach holidays or hot, but there will need to be a beach and it'll need to be at least warm. Probably a water park too. I was thinking a villa so we can self cater as the 11yo is seriously fussy. Open to any suggestions!

Cyprus can be baking hot. Wasn't impressed when we went to Paphos but others love it.

Cyprus will be very hot in summer months think 39/40 degrees in July, August.
You need somewher with A/C to get any sleep at night.

I L O V E Cyprus - I used to live thereSmile

Sounds like its actually not for you though as Cyprus is very hot! It's also 5 hour plane journey, and is also more expensive than say Spain etc - it is worth it as the island is beautiful, but i think maybe you should look more at say France or Spain maybe? Smile

I've been during the autumn half-term and it has been warm during the days and cool enough to need a cardi at night.

I wouldn't go in high summer - it'll be heat-blasted by then and everywhere will be barren and bleached out. Late 30's maybe, though by the coast could well be a few degrees cooler with a sea breeze.
